Rhianydd Easton set up Dragons and Daffodils Cakes in 1999. She regards herself as book-taught as, initially, they were her only source of knowledge and inspiration. She later took a couple of courses and was a runner-up for Celebration Cake Maker of the Year 2007 at the Baking Industry Awards. Rhianydd has always loved teaching and has taught classes both privately and for Rhondda Cynon Taff Adult Education, for which she won the NIACE Tutor Award for her area.
