Learn to bake like a true Italian with this stylish recipe book.
Melissa runs a boutique bakery and tea room based in the medieval town of Sarzana, near Pisa, where she delights the locals with her quirky bakes. Her book features 100 recipes for cakes, desserts and tarts that celebrate the best of Italian baking and produce, whilst also adding a unique, modern twist.
The book is split into three parts. The first is Dall’Italia which contains regional Italian recipes sourced from Melissa’s collection of vintage cookbooks. Next is Dal Monda, which features recipes from around the world adapted to suit Italian tastes. The final section, Da Melissa, features Melissa’s own favourite recipes which showcase delectable Italian ingredients. The introduction to each recipe gives an idea as to its origin and adds a personal touch to the cookbook while the moody photography lends it an attractive artistic quality.
