The Big Thame Bake is looking for talented bakers everywhere to rise to the occasion at this year’s Thame Food Festival on 26th September.
"With the launch of the Big Thame Bake, we're throwing down the oven glove to bakers everywhere," says food writer and Big Thame Bake organiser Jane Hornby. "We've come up with ten great categories to stretch your abilities and give you the chance to show us what you can do, whether you're an enthusiastic beginner or expert home baker."
“All we ask is a £5 donation for each entry, with all the money going to the Thame Food Bank and Thame Food Festival, a not-for-profit event run for the local community – as well as your best bakes, of course!”
Enter now and you could be crowned a winner. Not only that, you could also win a fantastic prize and get to meet some well-known faces in the world of baking, including The Great British Bake Off’s Frances Quinn, Luis Troyano and Miranda Gore Browne plus Benoit Blin, executive pastry chef from Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, to name but a few.
If your brownies are the best of the bunch or your flapjacks are flipping delicious, download your entry form from www.thamefoodfestival.co.uk/the-big-thame-bake and get them in the Big Thame Bake today.
