The collection of five very different wedding cake tutorials in the February/March 2016 issue were all designed exclusively for Cakes & Sugarcraft magazine. Zoe Clark’s bright and beautiful front cover cake with sugar flowers was inspired by an Oscar de la Renta dress, and Emily Hankins’ design is a masterclass in cake painting. There is a spectacular chocolate wedding cake with mirror glaze by master chocolatier Mark Tilling, as well as tutorials for fashion-forward graphics and vibrant ombre airbrushing.

With Mother’s Day and other special celebrations coming up this season, Cakes & Sugarcraft’s talented contributing authors show how to make adorable gifts which are sure to be a hit with friends and family, including an edible flowerpot, Russian doll cookies, a painted gift box and kawaii animal macaroons. Top sugarcrafters around the world share their experiences and advice, including straight-talking Australian TV judge Kerry Vincent, Italian Christian Giardina and the UK’s own Amy Swann.
